There's no escaping the fact that I love hard rock and heavy metal

Everything from Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple through to Pantera and the Children of Bodom, if it has a well-played distorted electric guitar, I will probably enjoy it

This is the music that I have listened to since I was about 14 years old and is the music that still gives me the greatest pleasure when I'm looking for a CD to put into the CD player.

Whilst you won't find anything here that is going to make Yngwie hang up his strat in shame it's the case that the sheer, unadulterated pleasure that comes from playing an electric guitar through a valve amplifier is hard to beat. If you get 1/100th of the pleasure out of listening to any of what I've posted than I gained from playing it then I am twice blessed.
